These first 2 swap packages were from a swap hosted by Heather @ Speckled Egg. Heather hosts frequent matchbox swaps...in assorted themes. The theme for this swap was Spring. And both my partners nailed the ambience of the theme! This beautiful box was made by one of my partners, Melissa @ Piney Rose .
And she over-filled that matchbox w/ goodies!!!!
A sweet seasonal tag, dyed seam binding & a mini-matchbox full of buttons.
Sequins & lots of lace....
bottle of beautiful glitter, lovely images, paper flower...
and a lovely, LOVELY umbrella pin. Thanks Melissa...you were a wonderful swap partner!
My second partner for the Spring Petite Inspiration Box swap was Cecily Cecily has a wondeful etsy shop...check it out! She crafted a beautiful box w/ this gorgeous fabric blossom...
and attached a sweet bird to it.
a stamped glassine envelope full of lavender buds...
a bottle of glitter , dyed seam binding & twine, wrapped around a clothespin. And my favorite....a tiny, wax stopper bottle full of wildflower seeds. Don't know if this will end up in a collage or on a piece of jewelry but I can't wait to use it! Thank you so much Cecily!
This next swap was hosted by Linda @ A Swap For All Seasons. My partner was Becky @ Don't Look Back. Look at all she treated me with! I LOVE how she used the pin cushion to present the Mother brooch. Great idea Becky!
She included a swatch of antique linen, rolled "rose" & paper partridge. Doesn't the partridge look like the logo from the Partridge Family tv show? (yes, I realize that I am dating myself here but hey...w/ 5 grands y'all had to have already known that I was old LOL)

Thanks again to all my partners...y'all were the best! And a special thank you to the swap hostesses...without y'all, these swaps wouldn't be possible.

I'm readying the first of several blog posts about my BirdSong weekend. Would y'all believe that Karla's Cottage was even more beautiful in person than it is in pictures? I wouldn't have thought that possible!

I'm so envious of all you Birdsong attendees. Then to come home to this mail! How fun! So many talented people in the world. And I'm looking forward to seeing you Birdsong recap. (Hoping too that someone will spill the beans on how to make the paper fringe tree. )
SO lovely! I'm thrilled that you had fun with the swap! :)
Such a fun swap - you're a great swap partner!
I'm still trying to wrap my mind around how you get all that stuff in a little matchbox! lol
I can't wait to see your photos about your trip to Karla's. Jan has kept me a bit posted that you had a DIVINE time! GOOD FOR YOU! You so deserved this marvelous get away. I have so missed seeing you. And I'm sad we can't be roomies again at Paper Cowgirls. YOU WERE THE BEST! So whisper in the dark "Good Night Charlene" when you lay your sweet head down & I bet your roomie this year will think you are loco. But, know I'll be thinking of you while your there. Create your heart out. It makes you smile! HUS!
