The Super Moon was awesome!

I hope you were able to see it! I set up the tripod & was able to snap a couple of decent pics....need a better camera though. Love this first one of it, behind the neighbors' tree.

Once it got high in the sky, it glowed so bright that it created a glare....this was as good as I could get.

It was just glorious and what a beautiful night for it!

Thanks for all the prayers & condolences....we're holding up. We have many wonderful memories to temper the sense of loss and that is always a blessing. Been staying really busy...making use of Spring Break last week to get some one on one time w/ each of the grands. Whew! It takes a lot of energy to make every day special! ;) No rest for the weary though as now I'm into spring cleaning & Easter decor....be back later!

Beautiful and thank you for sharing! The clouds rolled in at our house just in time to block the view. I am sure it would have been an amazing sight!

I tried to get some good shots of the super moon but my camera just couldn't capture the beauty. Your photos turned out much better than mine. Thought I would try my husband's new camera, but teenage soon ran the battery out and didn't recharge it. :/ Glad to hear that you are doing well. Keeping busy is a good thing during trying times. Have a good week. Best wishes, Tammy

We had such overcast skies that it didn't really look that fantastic here...but I did check it out. Your pictures are fantastic!

Great photos! I love the first one through the trees! I had the same trouble. Once the moon was up over the treeline it was too bright to photograph... But I did get a couple interesting ones... Check out the second one in my post... I used my telephoto and the ISO to 100 it took almost 30 seconds to snap that photo! What I got was a reflection on the camera mirror, I think, and an amazing shot of the moon!

Cami, these photos are stunning. I was none the wiser, so glad to see you captured on "film". I am sorry for your losses as you posted previously. What a difficult time you all must be going through. Bruce sounds like such a genuinely great man. My wishes for peace to all. ~ Angela
