The frames have a domed glass front. I'll take the old, dried florals out & put a collage in them instead...some sheet music, a rose image & an old key or something & they'll be sweet. The metal thingamajiggie is a an old toothbrush holder. I'll paint everything but the "crystal" part white & put it in my booth. Toothbrushes were a lot shorter back then than they are these days so I'm not sure if it'll sell or not....any ideas for other uses for it?

Love the poodle planter! It will be great for Easter. You can never have too many ironstone creamers ;o) & the pink ceramic chair will be cute somewhere. Although it will probably wind up, one day, in a dollhouse of Caralyn's. The lampshade is a little more shabby than chic but I kinda like it like that.
Look at the sweet rose trim encircling it! (in the pic it looks like the shade is torn but it's not....it's just a discoloration)
Love the trug basket. I already have it on my patio table, w/ some silk roses lying in it.
Hubby & I went this weekend to a huge, neighboorhood garage sale & hit the mother lode! I'm lucky that hubby likes garage saleing as much as I do. I can't wait to show you all what I got but it'll have to wait until next week. Happy thrifting!

Great finds! I took a little planter something like your poodle, filled it with glass globs (like you use in a vase) and use it for a soap dish in my bathroom. Can't wait to see your garaging finds!
Vinty, you really come across some great finds!
I think you have some sort of thrift store super power or something. Great finds!
