Didn't want y'all to think

that my table is perpetually covered w/ thrift store finds so I wanted to show you how it looks everyday...today anyway. I change out the decor on my table more than any other space in my home.

The "runner" is a curtain panel that I made for a previous house. It has a pink & cream toile backing & I love the way the two fabrics look togther. So eventually I'll remake it & frame the floral w/ the toile. The hydrangeas are left over from my Mother's Day table & the sweet mother & baby birds, under the cloche, was hubby's grandmother's. I was very honored that she wanted me to have her porcelain bird collection before she passed on...this is one of my favorites. And you may recognize the creamer, the ivy is planted in...it's a recent thrift find.

The praying ladies are vintage salt & pepper shakers...one says "We give you thanks for all your gifts" & the other says "Give us this day our daily bread." I have two pairs of them & they are usually on my Thanksgiving table.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving me sweet comments! I love you blog, it is just beautiful, and it cracked me up about your table always being covered in thrifty finds! That has been going on at my house too, is it a virus that is spreading from blog house to blog house??? Hope they don't find a cure for this one...

Have a great Friday and a lovely weekend too!

This is totally random - but I love the chairs at your table!

Everything in your house looks so pretty. :)

The arrangement is lovely. I always say that every thing looks better and more special under glass, and a cloche reallys sets off a display!

Carrie, those chairs are from Unique Furniture Makers (no longer in business)...I got them @ an antique shop a few years ago but I think they're from the 60s, maybe 70s. They're beautiful as is but I see a whitewash in their future.
