Rose Wednesday
Hello & welcome to another Rose Wednesday. Hosted by Jan @ Rose Haven.
Today, I am sharing my favorite doilie. This one has beautiful crocheted edging & the center is petit point roses. I should have taken a close-up pic but you can enlarge the pic to see the beautiful detail work.
You'll see more of the table in a future Tablescape Thursday post. ;o) But not tomorrow, tomorrow I am featuring pics from our anniversary table this past weekend. Hope everyone has a wonderful rosy day!

I can't wait for that tablescape - I love the doily on that plaid!! Sally
Lovely doily!
Be a sqweetie,
Shelia :)
Oh, that's pretty! I keep looking for more doilies with the stitching area in the center. I happened upon a few at the craft store a few years ago, but none sinc then. Happy Rose Wednesday!
That is lovely doily! I have a love for linens and doilies - I don't use them quite as much as I used to but still get them out now and then to give a table a little zip!
I made the candied lemon peels today! found a recipe and whipped im up- they are drying right now. I sure thank you for mentioning these to me, I had never heard of them before. THis recipe also leaves you with several cups of leftover sugar syrup which should be fun to put in tea and use in the lemonade.
thanks again!

Hello and Happy Rose Wednesday. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving such a sweet comment. I love that sweet doilie, so pretty. I did not know you could get dishes in the norfolk rose pattern, I 'll have to look for them.
Bless You, Shirl

This is so pretty. To answer the question you asked on my rose post. Yes that's me 30 years ago. Believe me, it's more than just the hair color that has changed. lol
