Another Rose Wednesday!

Time for another Rose Wednesday w/ Jan & the girls!

Today I'd like to share this Noritake, hand painted tea pot w/ beautiful roses on it. I bought it for a song on eBay years ago. It came w/ a sugar, creamer & 6 dessert plates.

Here's one of the plates.. Are you ready for how much I paid for this lovely set? Just a little over $20 plus shipping! It was back in the day, before shipping got so outrageous, so it was probably only about $30, $35 total....for the whole set!

I particularly love using them for fall because of the autumnal tones. If you are a roselover (& there aren't many in blogland who aren't! LOL) , then head over to Jan's to see all of the Rose Wednesday participants.

Hi Cami...

Thanks for joining us today!! Your Teapot, sugar, creamer and plates are exquisite. I, too, love the autumnal colors of them!

I am feeling a wee bit better...and am finally able to squish my feet into my Clarke's clogs. I still limp horribly and the discoloration in both feet is astounding! And that's after a week and a half has passed since the attack. My legs also look bruised.

Thanks for your well-wishes.

Jan

Hey Cami!
This is such a beautiful Noritake tea set....isn't ebay the best! I love your vignette with the little chair that you have the sugar dish sitting on...it's so cute. I have a white chair similar to this little one you have here....now you've inspired me girl! I've gotta go see what I can come up with for my little chair. Hope you have a Happy Rose Wednesday!
xoxo,
Queenie

You're right (about the spoiling thing), but apparently, from what I can tell from her friends...she has ALOT of company, and ONE company is doing very well in the midst of this economic crisis..b/c if they weren't, they might consider lowering their prices (which I would LOVE). And again, you're right...what an expensive habit!
