About Me

Cami @ Creating Myself
keller, Texas
Hi y'all! I'm a native Texan (just in case my accent didn't give me away ;o) ) who likes to spend her time "playing house", as my husband calls it. I would classify myself as a professional grandmother though. LOL They call me Honey & hubby, Grouchy so you will see me call ourselves that often. We have 5 grandchildren ... Connor, 12, Caeden, 8, Caralyn, 5, Coleson, 4 & Noah, 2. I sometimes mention my son's accident in my posts & I don't want y'all see it & then wonder "what in the world is she talking about" & then have to spend an hour searching through my blog to find out. So I'll explain it in my profile but I am not looking for sympathy...don't need it for I am blessed. ;o) But my son was badly burned over 43% of his body (mostly torso, arms, hands & face) on July 3rd of 2008. He spent weeks in ICU & then another several weeks in the acute care ward of the hospital. It's been hard, I won't deny that, but with determination, love & support, my family is overcoming this tragedy. Clifton is recovering miraculously well but an extra prayer is always welcome, so say one for him, will ya?
